William Bill Davis

William M. “Bill” Davis, 54, of Topeka, passed away Thursday June 26, 2008 at his home.  He was born March 22, 1954 in St. Joseph, MO., the son of Charles and Elnora Starkey Davis.  Bill was employed by Adams Business Forms (Cardinal Brand Inc.) until their closure earlier this year.

He is survived by three nephews, Joseph E. Calvin of Estes Park, Co., Michael A. Calvin and Matthew W. Calvin of Topeka, and niece, Mary L. Calvin-Herold of Topeka.  Six great nieces and nephews also survive.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Charlene “Sue” Calvin.

Bill will be remembered as a loyal and reliable coworker, the gentle caregiver of his mother, and for his quiet and thoughtful attitude.

Bill was cremated.  No services are planned.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and sent in care of the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, 66603.
