Helen Oppermann

Helen Oppermann, died June 16, 2008 at Stormont Vail Hospital.

She was born in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of George and Julia (Guth) Rigby.

She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1966 after 23 years of service.

Helen married John Arthur Oppermann at Holy Name Church on June 16, 1951.  He survives of the home.  She is also survived by a son John Kevin Oppermann of the home, a nephew Robert Courtney, great nephew Blake Courtney and a great niece Devon Courtney.

Mrs. Oppermann will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon where the family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m.  Graveside services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.brennanmathenafh.com.
