James Bradford Barker, 55, of Junction City, died June 6, 2008.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 24, 1952 the son of David and Harriet (James) Barker.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard for four years and was with the National Guard for ten years.
He was a co-owner of Dave and Jim’s Locksmith in Junction City, Kansas.
James was a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church, Topeka Treasure Hunter’s Club, the Coffee Club in Junction City and was a Cub Scout Leader.
He married Debra Rifenburg on September 25, 2004 in Topeka, Kansas. She survives him. He is also survived by a daughter Jennifer Burton-Pollack of Manhattan, Ks. And a son Michael Robinson of the home, a cousin Jennie Kauffman and her children of Dayton, Ohio.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 11th at 1:30 p.m. at Ft. Scott National Cemetery. Memorial Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 405 W. 8th, Junction City on Thursday, June 12th at 11:00 a.m.
