Ann Rosalie (Granado) DeSantiago, 65, of Topeka, died March 9, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born in Denver, Colorado on January 2, 1943 the daughter of Toribio and Felipa (Del Hierro) Granado. They preceded her in death.
She was a lifelong resident of the Topeka area. She graduated from Holiday Junior High and attended Topeka High School. Ann worked for five years for the Topeka Public Schools USD #501, ten years for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, five years at the Menninger Foundation and several years for the State of Kansas.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Ann married Friedrich Maisberger II on June 9, 1962 in Topeka, and they were married for 18 years. She married Juan DeSantiago on April 27, 2001 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include three children, Priscilla Diaz of Topeka, Friedrich (Shawn) Maisberger III of Topeka and Elizabeth (Brad) Clark of Carbondale; nine grandchildren, a brother Edward D. Granado of Hutchinson, two nieces and four nephews.
Ann will lie in state at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday after 4:00 p.m. where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
