Ecil Cullison

June 27, 1911 — January 2, 2008

Ecil Mae Cullison, 96, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Plaza West Regional Health Center.

 

She was born June 27, 1911 in Braman, OK the daughter of Joseph William and Mary Elizabeth Garnett Arthurs.  Mrs. Cullison moved to Topeka, KS in 1971 from Bible Grove, IL.

 

She was a member of Capital City Community Church of God with headquarters in Anderson, Indiana.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Cullison and two sisters, Ethel Spencer and Thelma Scott. 

 

Survivors include;  three daughters; Mary ‘Perry’ Hensley of Topeka, KS, Velma Harmon of Savoy, IL., Alice Rufenacht of Belvidere, IL and one son, Eldon Cullison of Kerrville, TX; two sisters, Dixie Butler of Blackwell, OK and Lillie Boggs of Lebanon, MO.  She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a host of friends. 

 

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 7th at Capital City Community Church of God, 1191 S.E. 37th Street.  Interment will be in Floral Garden of Memories in Flora, IL at a later date.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Capital City Community Church of God.
