Victoria (Vicki) Anguiano

July 28, 1932 — December 23, 2007

Victoria Ann Anguiano, 75, of Topeka, died December 23, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on July 28, 1932 the daughter of Jack and Helen (McQuiston) Barrett. While in Wichita she worked for Boeing Aircraft Co. In Topeka, she was an Apartment Manager for Oakbrook Apartments, The Chalet and Fleming Court. Vicki enjoyed traveling, shopping and her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed making handmade christmas stockings and christmas tree skirts, gambling, making handmade afghans, and collecting cow statues and bears. She married Rosendo S. Anguiano in Miami, Oklahoma on May 25, 1979. He survives her. She is also survived by a daughter, Lynn Ellis and son, Mike Shields. Her grandchildren include, Shauna Ellis, Stephanie Ellis, Melissa Williams, Justin Shields, Eden Fuson, Michael Dean Shields, and two step-grandchildren Asta Hill and Amber Howell. Vicki also has 10 great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. They will all miss her greatly. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28th at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or to Heart of America Hospice and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 West Sixth Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
