Trina Mosher, 48, of Topeka, died November 11, 2007, while on a business trip in Denver, Colorado. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 24, 1959, the daughter of John and Mary Ellen (Long) Vausbinder. Trina was a 1977 graduate of Topeka High School. She was a Supervisor Technology Coordinator for the Western Division of the American Heart Association with 23 years of service. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, mountain biking, exercising, coaching girl’s softball, especially her daughter’s team, “The Bombers” and being a Kansas City Chiefs fan. Trina will be admired for her loyalty and dedication toward anything she set out to accomplish. Trina married Mike Mosher at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church on April 15, 1978. He survives. She is also survived by: one son, Shawn Mosher of Olathe, one daughter, Jenny (Nick) Stroup of Kansas City, MO, parents, John and Mary Ellen Vausbinder of Topeka, two sisters, Tammi (Raymond) Ayala and Tracye (Jeff) Scheidegger both of Topeka and one brother, Trent (Kim) Vausbinder of Topeka and by her in- laws Bud and Lillian Mosher of Topeka, Mark Mosher and Diane (Lewis) Kimsey all of Topeka, and Greg (Holly) Mosher of Fairway. Five nieces and six nephews also survive. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Trina will lie in state at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Thursday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Parish Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 West Sixth St., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
