Irene Clark

Irene Clark, 83, of Topeka, passed away October 12, 2007 at Westwood Manor.

She was born November 26, 1923 in Hays, the daughter of Nick and Catherine Bieker Dreher.

Irene was a member of Mater Dei Parish.

She married Cletus C. Clark in Midland, Texas on July 17, 1945.  He preceded her in death on February 9, 2001.  Irene was also preceded in death by her brothers; Robert, Frank, Theodore and Al and a sister, Bertha.

Survivors include a son Kenneth C. Clark (Sherry) of Topeka and a daughter Deborah Cottingham (Mike) of Topeka, and grandchildren, Jennifer, Ariane and Marcia.

Mrs. Clark will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Monday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Mater Dei’s Assumption Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
