Mary L. Smith

Mary Lorian Smith, 82, Topeka, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in a Topeka nursing home.

Miss Smith was born December 23, 1924, in Topeka, the daughter of George F. and Ellen Brown Smith.  She graduated from Capitol Catholic High School.

Miss Smith worked for Capper Publications and also worked as a librarian.

Survivors include two nieces, Joan Mills of New Jersey and Carolyn Parent of South Carolina.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Mount Calvary Cemetery.  Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home is in charges of arrangements.
