Cynthia Ann Abbott died Friday, May 18, 2007 in Independence, Kansas. She was 35. She was employed at a nursing home as a Certified Medication Aide. Born in Topeka May 30, 1971, daughter of Napolean Grant, Jr. and Beverly Abbott. Survived by mother Beverly Charles and step-father, Ronald Eugene Charles, Topeka; step-son, Isaah Jefferson, Leavenworth; daughters Alteqwa and Shacore T. Nelson, Topeka; sisters, Tammy M. Abbott, Kimberly S. Abbott, Rosalind Grant, all of Topeka; Lorena C. Abbott, Kansas City, Kansas; Erica Grant, St. Louis; Lisa Grant, Tulsa and Elizabeth Grant in Mississippi; brothers, Ronnie Charles, Jr and Joseph Grant, Topeka; Napolean Grant, Jr., III and Mankion Grant, Independence; Ramondo Grant and Eddie Chisom, Tulsa; Aaron Grant, living in Mississippi. In repose Thursday 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Funeral service Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, 800 West Sixth, Topeka 66603, where memorial contributions to the Cynthia Abbott Memorial Fund may be sent.
