Paul A. Tholl

Paul A. Tholl, 59, Topeka, passed away Saturday,May 5, 2007 at Colmery O'Neil VA Medical Center.

He was employed in the supply warehouse for the State of Kansas for many years.

Paul ws born August 2, 1947 in Topeka, the son of Harold Peter and Clara Minnie Scheibe Tholl.  He was a graduate of Clark's School of Business.  Paul served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper with 101st Airborne during athe Vietnam War, he received a medical discharge.

He grew up in the Holy Name Parish.  Paul was a member of Philip Billard Post #1650 of the VFW, DAV, Sergeant's Association and the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include two sisters, Marilyn T. Lopez of Oscoda, MI and Theresa M. Aufleger of Emporia.  Several nieces and a nephew, great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents Harold Peter and Clara Minnie Scheibe Tholl.

A parish rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. Friday at the VA All Faith Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.  Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery with military honors by a Ft. Riley honor guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the DAV or the American Lung Association and sent in care of the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
