Tony A. Luna, 58, of Topeka, died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Topeka on July 5, 1948, the son of Jose M. Luna and Jesus Castardo Luna.
Tony was a welder at Topeka Iron Works. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Ward, a member of the Boilermaker's Union and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Peter and Joe of Topeka; four sisters, Rose Acosta, Mary Blancas and Isabel Zarazua all of Topeka and Sally Munoz in Olathe.
Mr. Luna was cremated. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:30 Tuesday afternoon at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a rosary wby the parish will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalup Church. Inurnment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery where military honors will be provided by a funeral detail from Fort Riley.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and sent in care of the funeral home, 800 SW 6th, 66603.
