Frances C. Carver

Frances Carol Carver, 80, of Topeka, passed away April 16, 2007 at her home.

Carol was born October 9, 1926 in Clay Center the daughter of Thomas Patrick and Fannie May Bentley Ravins.  She was a graduate of Capital Catholic Hiagh School.

Carol was a member of Most Pure Heartt of Mary Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella Little Flower Circle #503.  She volunteered at Birthright of Topeka for fifteen years.

Carol was married to Leslie Leroy Carver on January 22, 148 at Assumption Church.  He preceded her in death on October 7, 1975.

Survivors include:  one son, Mike Carver and his wife Vickie of Topeka; four daughters, Pat Shehi and her husband Tom of Topeka, Diane Kossak and her husband Tom of Surprise, AZ, Teresa Foster and her husband Brian of Topeka and Barbara Carper of Topeka; two Brothers, Tom Ravins of Beaverton, OR and Ben Ravins of Topeka.  Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel (Memorial Park) Cemetery.  Carol will be in repose after 2:00 p.m. today at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where rosaries will be prayed by the Daughters of Isabella at 4:00 p.m. followed by the parish at 6:15 p.m.
