Erma A. Rohr, formerly of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 while in hospice care at White Ridge Convalescent Center in Lees Summit, Missouri. She was 89. Mrs. Rohr lived in the Highland Park are of Topeka for over fifty years and moved to Lees Summit in 2003. She was born in Topeka on January 17, 1918. Mrs. Rohr is survived by her daughter, Diana S. Carey and husband Mel, Lees Summit; three grandchildren, Amanda McCabe, Cape Coral, Florida, Ryan D. Carey, Killen, Texas and Matthew J. Carey, Lees Summit. Her great-granddaughter, Brianna Nicole McCabe also survives. Erma Rohr will be in repose today after 3:00 o’clock at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 and the parish rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00 o’clock at Holy Name Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
