Mildred L. “Milly” Harley, 94, of Topeka, passed away Monday, February 05, 2007 at her home.
Mrs. Harley was secretary having been employed at the Parsons Hospital and Training Center in Parsons, later for the Menorah Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo and the Kansas Board of Agriculture for many years before she retired. Milly also was a piano teacher for twenty years.
She was born January 24, 1913 in Logan and was the daughter of Lewis and Lena Wills.
Milly attended Kansas Wesleyan Business College in Salina.
Mrs. Harley was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the auxiliary of the Retired Officer’s Association.
She was married to James O. Harley on July 1, 1966 in Topeka. He preceded in death on August 28, 1987.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Holt of Loveland, CO and Jane K. Kerle of Kansas City, MO. Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
