Aunalee (Deal) Parmley, 85, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Stormont Vail Hospital.
She was born January 17, 1939, in Christiansburg, Ohio, to Paul Woodrow Deal and Thelma (Arbogast) Deal, later moving to Arkansas City, Kansas. Aunalee was a proud homemaker and also worked in Topeka as a real estate agent for many years with Coldwell Banker.
Aunalee was well known as an excellent cook who enjoyed providing wonderful meals and spoiling her family, bargain hunting, and traveling to Padre Island, Las Vegas and other favorite destinations.
She married Thomas Lee Parmley on October 8, 1955, in Arkansas City, Kansas. He died February 14, 2024.
Survivors include daughters, Connie Dawson and husband Eddie, Deborah Simon and husband John; grandchildren, Sean Dawson and wife Chelsey, Kelsie Jefferson and husband Nick, Adam Parmley Norton; great grandchildren, Mia Dawson, Madaline Jefferson, and Grant Jefferson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband.
Funeral services were held for the immediate family in Topeka, with interment at Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City, Kansas.
