Avis "Darlene" Searan

Avis “Darlene” Searan, age 75, formerly of California, passed away at Restwell Home Plus in Oskaloosa, KS, on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

She was born the daughter of Leo Abraham and Avis Amelia (Gabbert) Searan in Claremore, OK, on June 25, 1946.

Darlene loved watching baseball, especially, the Cincinnati Reds, gardening, and watching movies. She had a special love for pets that included dogs, cats and birds. Darlene also loved her favorite country artist, George Strait.

Survivors include her brother, Leo Searan; niece, Melanie Searan; nephew, Michael Bradley and his wife Felicia and their children, Amanda, Austin and Andrew Bradley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Christa Searan.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Topeka Cemetery.
