Brian E. Humpert, 45, of Topeka, KS passed Friday, October 25, 2019 surrounded by family and friends.
He was born February 26, 1974 in Topeka the son of Lynn and Jeaniene (Williams) Humpert.
For over 25 years Brian worked as a stone cutter at J.T. Lardner Cut Stone. He enjoyed listening to music, sitting around the firepit with friends, camping, canoe trips and loved the 4th of July. He gave the gift of life by donating organs and tissue.
Brian married Leslie Dempewolf on February 20, 1999 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Justin (Jerilyn Barranco) Miller, Matthew Miller, Sabrina Humpert, his father, Lynn (Karen) Humpert, mother, Jeaniene (Michael Lohmann) Williams, siblings, Jake (Angela) Humpert, Joshua (Krista) Cole, grandmothers, Bethel Williams and Glennis Martin along with numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Williams, Raymond Humpert and Jim Martin.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka. Prior to the service his family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Blaine, KS.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Midwest Transplant Network sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
