Bryce Chadwick Parrish, 34, formerly of Topeka, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at his home in Lakeland, Florida.
He was born December 25, 1989, in Topeka, Kansas, to Les Parrish and Tracy L. (Friedl) Serrano. Bryce attended Topeka Lutheran; Shawnee Heights Elementary, Jeff West Middle School; and graduated from Topeka High School in 2009.
Bryce was a standout football player all through middle and high school. He enjoyed soccer, basketball, and playing video games. He also liked working on cars and Batman comics. Bryce was involved in in LINK CREW and ROTC, while in high school.
He worked for Regional Homes of Bartow, in Bartow, Florida, as a regional sales consultant.
Bryce married Kevin Blaze Britt, on May 21, 2016, in Georgetown, Texas. He survives of the home in Abilene, Texas with their two dogs Frankie and Bowser.
Other survivors include his parents, Les Parrish and Tracy L. (Friedl) Serrano (Jamie) of Topeka; sister, Jeryn Parrish of Topeka; brothers, Scott Weinkauf (Keely Brunner) and Austin Parrish of Topeka; grandparents, Carolyn Merrill of Topeka, Nancy and James Parrish of Tecumseh, Ralph and Viola Serrano of Topeka; Aunt Stacy and Uncle Alain Vanhollebeke which were like a second set of parents; cousin, Kelly which was more like a sister; uncles WT Moody (Robin) and Tyler Parrish (Maeve), Monte Parrish; and nephews, Bryant Toole (11), Eli Toole (9), Maverick Long (6), and Joshua Long Jr. (2); and a number of other cousins and relatives; other survivors include, Jenna and Josh Schoville of Auburndale, Florida.
He is also survived by his spouse’s family. Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kent and Treby Beck of Tuscola, Texas; father-in-law, Billy Britt of Porter, Texas; mother-in-law, Angela Sanders of Chicago, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Erika Head (Michael) of Tuscola, Texas, Kayli Beck of Bend, Oregon; brothers-in-law, Atley Beck (Alyssa) of Tuscola, Texas, Creed Beck and Matthew Beck of Abilene, Texas, Peyton Britt (Gillian) of Porter, Texas, and Alec Britt (Bre Dougherty) of Katy, Texas, Jerrod Beck of Portland, Oregon; nieces, Emersyn Head, Copelyn Head and Claire Head of Tuscola, Texas, Haizley Beck of Abilene, Texas, and April Sue Beck of Tuscola, Texas; nephews, Ayler Head of Tuscola, Texas, and Kia Britt of Katy, Texas; as well as best friends Anthony and Bryn Croteau and their baby girl Quest of Bend, Oregon.
A public visitation with the family will be from 4:00pm-8:00pm, Friday, September 6, and a funeral service will be 10:00am, Saturday, September 7, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
