Carolina Segura Hernandez

Carolina Segura Hernandez, 81, of Topeka, passed away on December 29, 2020 at the University of Kansas, St. Francis Campus.

She was born on June 25, 1939 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Juan and Antonia (Torrez) Segura.

Carolina was a homemaker.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Her interests included reading, music and going to the casino.

She married Alejandro G. Hernandez in Topeka, Kansas on February 5, 1957.  He predeceased her on May 30, 2020.  Carolina is survived by her children, Sonja S. (George) Schroeder of Wichita, Pedro Hernandez of Wichita, Angel (Colleen) Hernandez of Topeka, ten grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, and a brother, Pete Segura of Topeka.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Johnny Segura, Ramona Alvarez, Rita Charay and Henry Segura.

Carolina was cremated.  There will be no services held at this time.
