Charlotte Adel Alejos, 81, of Topeka, passed away on July 19, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Abilene.
She was born in Topeka, Kansas on January 22, 1939 the daughter of Alfred and Marie (Heller) Rice.
Charlotte and her husband owned and operated Major Appliance.
Charlotte enjoyed scrapbooking, puzzles, cooking and flower gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Mater Dei Holy Name Parish.
She married Luis Alejos at the Church of the Assumption in Topeka on October 14, 1957. He survives her. She is also survived by three sons, Michael (Karen) Alejos of Bedford, TX, David (Paula) Alejos, and John (Allison) Alejos all of Topeka, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Charlotte was preceded in death by a son, Paul Alejos and two brothers, Dale and Lonnie Rice.
Charlotte was cremated. The family will receive friends on Thursday at Mater Dei Holy Name Church on Thursday, July 23rd, at 9:00 a.m. with a rosary prayed at 9:30 a.m. and a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
