Cheryl L. Castellon

Cheryl “Cheri” L. Castellon, age 63, of Topeka, KS, passed away with her family by her side on Monday, April 3, 2023, in Topeka, KS.

She was born the daughter of Otto Lester and Glenda Pauline (Tidd) Johnston on March 7, 1960, in Iola, KS. Cheri retired as an Eligibility Counselor for Maximus. In her spare time, she loved to play bingo, gamble at the casino and playing scratch off lottery tickets. Most of all, Cheri enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children; daughter, Jacqueline Perkins and her children, Sian Perkins and Nyah Perkins and great-grandchild Messiah Card; daughter, Roxann Castellon and her children, Tajana Castellon and Tamara Richey; daughter, Debra Castellon and her children, Adriana Foster and Isaac Chavez. Also surviving are her sisters, Angel Blair and Bonnie Gilbert.

Cheri was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Hope Castellon; granddaughter, Mariana Castellon and two sisters.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 1-2:00 P.M., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 P.M., all at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.
