Daniel Power Jones

Daniel Power Jones, 70, of Olathe, KS died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at the Healthcare Resort of Olathe.

He was born August 29, 1951, in Topeka the son of Omar and Carol (McEntire) Jones.

Daniel worked in cafeteria at the Olathe School for the Deaf for over 20 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Kelly Jones and her partner, Josh Grube of Lawrence, son, Daniel Jones and his wife Rebecca, a sister, Carla Stone and a brother, Martin Jones and his wife, Wendy all of Topeka along with seven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place.  A private graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6^th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
