Deborah Weaver

Deborah Weaver, age 71, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at The Gardens at Aldersgate. 

She was born the daughter of George and Theresa (Smith) Crowley on August 8, 1952, in Albuquerque, NM. She was a 1971 Hayden High School graduate. 

While at Hayden, she met and married her high school sweetheart, Gregory “Greg” Weaver. The two married in March of 1972, and together, shared 51 years of marriage. 

Deborah enjoyed cooking, drawing, singing, dancing, and animals. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was devoted to her faith, always willing to preach to those who needed guidance. She donated generously to those in need and those in less fortunate circumstances. Deborah was hard working mom that took great pride in raising her family of five children. She will be dearly missed. 

Survivors include her husband, Greg Weaver; children, Troy Weaver, Greg Weaver, Jr., (Heather Parker) and her children, Jordan & Kaylee, Michael Weaver (April) and their daughter, Alena, Thomas Weaver (Courtney) and their children, Kaiian & Bentley, and Crystal Weaver (Kenny Parrent). Other survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Bryan & Janet Kruz. 

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Norman and Robert Crowley.

She will lie in state from 5-7:00 P.M., on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, January 26, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka. 

Memorial contributions can be made in Deborah’s memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
