Dexter Ray Robert Hulse, age 6 months, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, in Topeka, KS.
He was born the son of Nathaniel “Nate” R. and Brittany (DaPrato) Hulse on November 25, 2020, in Topeka, KS.
Although Dexter’s time on earth was short, he left an everlasting impact with the people that he was around. The cherished memories of his smile, love for his parents, brothers, sister, grandparents and extended family will always be remembered. We will forever hold little Dexter in our hearts.
He is survived by his loving family that includes his parents; brothers, Zackary and Hunter Pagel; sister, Aurora Hulse; paternal family includes; grandparents, Shawn and Mechelle Hulse; aunt, Hannah Hulse; uncles, Andrew Sexton, Matt Sexton, Chad Sexton and Dylan Kitner; great-grandpa, Sylvanus “Syl” Rome; great-grandmother, Jessica Schatz; maternal family includes; grandparents, Anthony and Leslie DaPrato; aunt, Daytona DaPrato; uncles, Anthony L. DaPrato and Chase Massey; and great-grandmother, Susan Hastings. Dexter also leaves behind a loving extended family.
Dexter is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Malinda Deel; great-grandmother, Jeannie Rome; and great-grandfather, Don Hulse; maternal great-grandparents, Leo and Mary DaPrato; and great-grandmother, Rebecca “Becky” Estep.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 9-11:00 A.M., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M., both at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.
