Dolores Xilonzochilt-Vega

Dolores Xilonzochilt-Vega, age 35, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

She was the daughter of Adan Xilonzochilt and Maria Cruz-Vega and was born on April 10, 1987, in San Juan Cosala, Jalisco, Mexico.

Dolores married Urbano Perez and together they shared 12 years of marriage. She could light up a room with her smile and ability to be a social butterfly. She loved to listen to music and was proud to have a big, loving family. Dolores was a kindhearted woman and as a sister, she would never get mad for anything. Although Dolores lived in Kansas, she loved to spend time in Santa Cruz, CA.  Her family, especially her kids, were her pride and joy and she will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her parents; husband, Urbano Perez; children, Aaron, Stephanie, Sophie, Brittney, and Urban; three sisters, Esperanza, Aimee, and Angelica Xilonzochilt; two brothers, Adan and Jaime Xilonzochilt.

She will lie in state from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. A rosary will take place at 5:00 P.M.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.

Memorial contributions can be made to Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.

Hija de Adán Xilonzochilt y María Cruz Vega, nació el 10 de abril de 1987 en San Juan Cosalá, Jalisco, México.

Dolores se casó con Urbano Pérez y juntos compartieron 12 años de matrimonio. Podía iluminar una habitación con su sonrisa y su habilidad para ser una mariposa social. Le encantaba escuchar música y estaba orgullosa de tener una familia grande y amorosa. Dolores era una mujer de buen corazón y como hermana nunca se enfadaría por nada. Aunque Dolores vivía en Kansas, le encantaba pasar tiempo en Santa Cruz, CA. Su familia, especialmente sus hijos, eran su orgullo y alegría y la extrañaremos mucho.

Los sobrevivientes incluyen a sus padres; esposo, Urbano Pérez; niños, Aaron, Stephanie, Sophia, Brittney y Urban; tres hermanas, Esperanza, Aimee y Angélica Xilonzochilt; dos hermanos, Adán y Jaime Xilonzochilt.

Ella permanecerá en estado de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., el miércoles 11 de enero de 2023, en la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. El entierro seguirá en Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.
