Donna Jean North

On December 8, 2022, Donna Jean North left this earth for heaven. Donna lived all her life in Topeka. She was born on April 12, 1957, minutes before her twin brother Don Bloomquist to Wilma (Dustin) and Robert L. Bloomquist. She was a product of Shawnee County schools, graduating from Shawnee Heights High School in 1975. She was married to Charles North. They later divorced. Throughout the years she worked many jobs but most often as a home health care specialist giving help and compassion to those in need.

She is survived by her son, the apple of her eye, Robert C. North, his wife Emma and two grandchildren, Brayden and Bailee North. She is also survived by her sister Marty Bloomquist and brother-in-law, Joe Scranton.

She will be remembered for her laugh, her wit, her exceptional memory, artistic talent, and her ability to make friends.

A brief graveside service will be held on December 29th at 11:00 am at Lynn Creek Cemetery in Berryton, Kansas.
