Elaine Kaye Wecker

Elaine Kaye Wecker 83, of Topeka, Kansas passed on March 4th, 2025, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

She was born in Emporia, Kansas on January 14, 1942, the daughter of Elmer and Louise Wilson. She attended Emporia High School.

Elaine and Larry were active in Square Dancing and owned Elaine’s Square Dance shop for a number of years.

She retired from AT&T in 2007.

Elaine loved playing Bingo, crafts and spending time with her family.

She was married to Larry P. Wecker in Emporia, Kansas on June 19th, 1965. He survives.

She is also survived by her children, Tim Wecker and wife Theresa, Lisa Kanatzar and husband Jeff, her grandchildren, Treaver and Megan Wecker, Trenton and Katie Wecker, Tannier Wecker, Megan Havens, Stephanie and Isreal Mundy, Justin Kanatzar and Jessie Kanatzar and 10 great grandchildren.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Thursday March 13, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Topeka.
