Frank J. Delci

Frank J. Delci, age 80, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Plaza West Health & Rehab in Topeka.

He was born the son of Francisco and Helen L. (Espinoza) Delci on June 6, 1944, in Topeka, KS. Frank attended and graduated from Hayden High School.

He was employed with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Manufacturing as a Maintenance Mechanic and after 35 years of employment, Frank retired in 2009. On December 18, 1998, he married Virginia Sturm and together they shared over 25 years of marriage.

Throughout the years, Frank loved hunting, fishing, and camping as well as bowling and spending time with extended family and friends. In his spare time, you could find Frank watching his favorite westerns on the tv, spending time at the casino, visiting his daughter at her assisted living facility, and taking time to travel. He was always proud of his children and put them first. Frank always stressed education first. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Delci; three children, Desert Xel (Johnnie Xel), Mario Delci (Minh Nguyen), Jennifer Delci-Robinson; as well as two grandchildren, Maxwell and Monica Delci. Other survivors include a sister, Helen Way; brother, Theodore Delci; sister, Margaret Acker (Gregory); and brother, John Delci (Elizabeth).

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, and a son-in-law, Rick Robinson.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M., on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.

Memorial contributions can be made in Frank's memory to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
