Gabriel Andres Martinez-Meraz

Gabriel Andres Martinez-Meraz, age 33, passed away on February 1, 2024.

He was born on April 16, 1990, in Topeka, KS. He loved to rebuild and work on cars as a mechanic. Gabriel also enjoyed playing video games with his friends and sisters. He was a fan of sports and grew up playing soccer with his dad and family.

Survivors include his beloved parents, Roberto Cabello and Sylvia Meraz; daughter, Destiny Martinez; three sisters, Janet Munoz, Jessica Cabello, and Alondra Cabello. Other survivors include a loving extended family that includes many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Gabriel will lie in state from 4-8:00 P.M., on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, with a rosary at 6:00 P.M., at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6^th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Wednesday, February 7, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery -Topeka.
