Gloria J. Long

Gloria J. Long, age 61, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Stormont Vail Hospital.

Gloria was born the daughter of Everette L. and Willie R. (Renfrow) Guyer on July 10, 1960, in Soda Springs, ID.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Business from Baker University. She was a longtime Physical Therapist Assistant, Office Manager, and a Caregiver for Grace Care. On October 13, 2002, Gloria married Anthony Long in Colorado Springs, CO. Together, they shared 19 years of marriage.

Gloria as avid K-State and KC Chiefs fan. She was a proud supporter and attended the Special Olympics. She enjoyed traveling, relaxing and swimming.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony Long; four sons, Carlos, Steven, Harley, and Kurtis Rich; two brothers, Loren Guyer and his wife Marsha, and Alvin Guyer; three sisters, Loral Smith, Kathy Robert and her husband Eugene, and Nancy Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Charles Stinson.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial visitation will be held from 10-11:00 A.M., on Saturday, November 13, 2021, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M., both at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Topeka Stars Softball Team. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
