Grace V. Burghart

Grace V. Burghart, age 79, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Tanglewood Health and Rehab.

Grace was born the daughter of John, Sr., and Pauline (Thompson) Burge on November 15, 1941 in Detroit, MI.

She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Grace loved and cared for many animals. She enjoyed gardening and listening to country music. Her family and faith are what brought the most joy in her life.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Perry; two sons, Jack and Scott Perry; two brothers, John Burge and Paul Burge. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; son, Carl Burge; four husbands, Jack Perry, Sr., Red Cook, Alejandro (Alex) Vasquez and Harold Burghart.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 10-10:30 A.M., with a parish rosary at 10:30 A.M. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M., all at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
