Henry J. Hohn, 74 of Carbondale, KS died June 22, 2020 at his home.
He was born July 7, 1945 in Topeka the son of Henry F. and Gladys “Stetna” Hohn.
Henry graduated from Topeka High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a lifelong member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
Henry owned and operated the Joseph’s Hair Salon and later worked at Washburn University.
He is survived by four brothers, John (Ila) Hohn, Kenneth (Betty) Hohn, Eugene Hohn and Phillip Hohn along with numerous nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry F. and Gladys and a sister Mary Force.
A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 3:00 pm Sunday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Following the rosary, the family will receive friends until 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
