James P. Inherst, 47, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away October 8, 2019 at Midland Hospice House. James was born in Akron, Ohio to Jerry and Lethia Brookover Inherst.
James was an extremely talented drummer. He was involved in several musical groups and marching bands. James loved all genera’s of music but enjoyed rock n roll and heavy metal the most. He also was a gifted artist. Drawing was his favorite medium to work in. He loved magic as well. For most of his life he worked at a skilled carpenter, framing houses and doing electrical work.
He was known as the nicest guy on the block. He was always there for anyone that needed him. He loved to help others any chance he could.
James is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Inherst and grandmother Juanita Brookover.
He is survived by his mother, his sister Susan Inherst-Walton, best friend since the age of 18, Dave Coon, and family friends Rene and Glenn Pruit.
No services are planned for this time.
