Jan Elizabeth Forst

Jan Elizabeth Forst, 56, of Topeka, KS died November 16, 2021, at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

She was born September 20, 1965, in Topeka the daughter of George and Lou Ann (Latta) Forst.

Jan was a 1984 graduate of Highland Park High School and retired from Topeka Parks and Recreation.

She is survived by her father, George Forst, Jr., four siblings, Ken (Julie) Forst, Karen (Jamie) Wright, Tim (Marla) Forst and Dee (Robert) Koenke. Several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive. Jan was preceded in death by her mother, Lou Ann Forst.

She will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2021, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a Parish Rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m. followed by her funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Frankfort, KS.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the national Kidney Foundation or American Cancer Society sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6^th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
