Janet Sue Adame

Janet Sue (Hutley) Adame, 69, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the House at Midland Care.

She was born in Topeka, Kansas on December 31, 1953 the daughter of Francis and Mary Joann (Best) Hutley.

Janet was a 1971 graduate of Topeka High School.  She loved her animals and caring for her plants.  Her pastimes included computer games, reading, doing puzzles and crocheting.

She married John Adame at Holy Name Catholic Church on February 3, 1973.  They shared 50 years of marriage.  He survives.  She is also survived by her daughter Melanie Fitzpatrick and husband Bryan, her son Shannon Adame, five grandchildren, Kiera Fitzpatrick, Brandon (Jordan) Barnette, Trey Barnette, Trenton Adkins and Sydney Adame, a sister Cheryl Hutley and brother Stan Hutley.  Janet was preceded in death by a sister Michelle James and her parents.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 27^th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where her family will receive friends and there will be a sharing of memories at 7:00 p.m.  Graveside inurnment will be on Tuesday, March 28^th at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
