Jimmy Richard Mims, Jr.

Jimmy Richard Mims, Jr., beloved husband, dad and grandpa, passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 67.

He was born the son of Jimmy Mims, Sr., and Shirley Carrol on January 11, 1956, in Millington, TN.

Jimmy met, fell in love, and married Barbara C. Kuone on May 7, 2002, in Weldon IA. Together, they shared 21 years of marriage. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, bowling and loved to watch WWF wrestling. He was a handyman by trade and was able to fix just about anything. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Carolyn Mims; daughter, Alison; step-son, Matthew; step-daughter, Christy; his grandchildren; and three sisters, Nancy, Joy, and Myra.

A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
