Jo Ann Immenschuh, age 64, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at her home.
She was born July 21, 1960, in Topeka, to John W. Immenschuh and Barbara Anne (Welch) Immenschuh. Jo attended Hayden Catholic School and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1978.
Over the years Jo had several different jobs. She was an over the road truck driver, a bookkeeper, and Manager at Pappa Johns.
Jo enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved dog Coco.
Survivors include daughters, Aimee Jones (Chris) of Topeka, Barbara (Shannon) of Topeka; mother, Barbara Immenschuh of Topeka; siblings, John Immenschuh (Marilyn) of St. Marys, Juanita Hedges (David) of Alma, Joe Immenschuh (Cassy) of Topeka, Jeff Immenschuh (Chris) of St. Marys, Jason Immenschuh of Grantville; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 16 loved nieces and nephews, and dog Coco.
Jo was preceded in death by her father and infant brother, Julius Immenschuh.
A visitation with the family will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with a rosary prayed at 7:00pm, Wednesday, October 9, at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am, Thursday, October 10, at Mater Dei Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys, Kansas.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, KS 66603.
