JoAnn Morris

JoAnn A. Morris, age 76, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Topeka Center for Rehab and Nursing.

She was born the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Duran) Anglin on October 13, 1946, in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

JoAnn loved all animals, especially her dogs. She was an avid shopper and was always buying something from the Shopping Network. She was a friend to all that knew her, and she was willing to lend a hand to those that were in need.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Schaal, and many friends from Landmark Apartments.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved son, Jodell Christopher Morris (2001).

A private graveside ceremony took place at Topeka Cemetery where she was laid to rest next to her son.

Memorial contributions can be made in JoAnn’s memory to Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care to the funeral home.
