John Lucas Stovall, age 32, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
He was born the son of Mark S. Stovall and Colleen R. Allen on December 24, 1989, in Topeka, KS. John graduated from Mission Valley High School in 2008. After high school, he entered the workforce as a grocery associate at various grocery stores. His recent employment was at The Home Depot Distribution Center. He was hard worker and after several employment advancements, John became the DC Inventory Control Associate, a position he truly enjoyed.
John loved playing video games, attending rock concerts, and traveling. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Yuna.
On July 1, 2021, John received the terrible news that he had cancer. He faced his prognosis with courage and determination, although he knew it would be an uphill battle. John was always a shining light for his family and friends. We take comfort knowing he fought the good fight, but his suffering has ended. John will be dearly missed.
