Two special trips were taken Paducah, Kentucky visiting various quilt shops and Carthage, MO, to visit the Precious Moments Chapel as well as the quilt shops. She was a prior member of the Kansas Capital Quilters Guild. She loved sunflowers and the Wizard of Oz. Kathy was a true KC Royals and KC Chiefs fan. Although she was a super fan, getting to see her granddaughters play volleyball, softball and other school activities brought her the greatest joy.
