Keith Edward Adams

Keith Edward Adams, age 77, of Tecumseh, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born June 29, 1947, in Edgewood, Iowa, to James O. Adams and Winnifred Kathryn (Gallagher) Adams. Keith graduated from Starmont High School in Arlington, Iowa, in 1966, and later attended Kaw Area Vocational Technical School and Clark’s Business School. 

Keith entered into the United States Air Force in 1966, honorably discharged in 1970 at the rank of sergeant. 

He worked in sales and service for White Star Machinery, retiring in 2010. 

Keith was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He volunteered for baptism classes and funeral dinners. During Fiesta season he could be found building parade floats, making tamales and designing and operating the church lemonade stand. He loved antique tractors and helping his children with projects. 

He married Isabel Tetuan, on September 6, 1969, in Topeka. They recently celebrated 55 wonderful years together. Isabel survives of the home. 

Other survivors include, his children, Blair Edward Adams, Brian Keith Adams and wife Dana, Brandon Allen Adams; his siblings, Lyle Adams, Harlan Adams, Delores Guiterrez, Bonnie Hankins, Blair R. Adams, Larry Adams, Cheryl Mason, Mark Adams, and Debby Schloss; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Kathryn; stepmother, Ruth (Tryon) Adams; and siblings, Kenneth Adams, Lynn Adams, Ted Tryon, Charles Tryon, and Becky Ellis. 

A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 9:30am, Monday, October 14, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A visitation with the family will be 10:00am-11:00am, and a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Disabled American Veterans or Helping Hands Humane Society, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, KS 66603.
