Linda Kay Joyce, 67, of Ozawkie, Kansas passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her home.

She was born August 30, 1954, in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, the daughter of Edward and Jocletta (Goens) Johnson.  She graduated from Oak Park High School in 1972, and attended Warrensburg College, received her Associates of Nursing from Kansas City Kansas Community College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Reggis University.

Linda married Jack Edward Joyce on February 8, 1975, in Kansas City, Kansas.  He survives of the home.

She was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is also survived by daughters, Kelli Walker and husband Collin of Newport, OR., Stacy Yelton and husband Nick of Kansas City, MO; son, Patrick Joyce of Kansas City, KS; sister, Juanita Gobel and husband Richard of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Madison Yelton and McKenzie Yelton both of Kansas City, MO, and Charlotte Walker of Newport, OR.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father, and Aunt Leola Bowie.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home.  Burial will be private at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, KS.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66603.
