Linda Sue Thompson

Linda Sue Thompson, 74, of Topeka, went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2018.

She was born in Brownwood, Texas on May 24, 1944, the daughter of Calvin and Edna (Cox) Wingrove. 

Linda was a homemaker. 

She is survived by four daughters, Charla Carpenter of Amherst, TX, Teresa Weaver, Lisa Smalley and Anisia Kinder all of Tyler, TX, a son, Russell Matthews and his wife, LeeAnn of Topeka. Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three siblings, Sherry, Phyllis, and Fran also survive.

Linda will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday after 2:00 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
