Lorine M. Haefner

Lorine M. Haefner, 82 of Topeka, KS died May 24, 2020.

She was born in West Virginia on August 1, 1937.

Lorine was retired from Hallmark Cards.

Lorine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Altar Society at the church and was a volunteer for the annual Germanfest, and helped with funeral and Santa Fe Retirees luncheons.  She enjoyed bowling and crocheting.

Lorine married Leo J. Haefner on September 28,1985 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  He preceded her in death on April 13, 2012.  She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Thelma Haefner (Edward, deceased) and Phyllis Haefner (Frank, deceased), as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. 

A Parish Rosary will be prayed for Lorine on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Midland Hospice Care, sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6^th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
