Louis Edward Stadler, age 90, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Kansas City VA Medical Center.
He was born on August 24, 1931 in Topeka, KS, the son of Joseph and Marie (Leinacker) Stadler, one of 12 children.
Louis served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a self-employed demolition contractor.
Louis attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from Hayden High School. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His passions in life included his pets, volunteering his time to his Alma Mater, Hayden High School, where he was especially devoted to their football program and school.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 10 siblings, Marie Kaberline, Joseph Stadler, John Stadler, Virginia Latshaw, Andrew Stadler, Eugene Stadler, Francis Stadler, Cecelia Dunlap, Rita Harvan, and James Stadler.
Survivors include his brother, Jerome "Jerry" Stadler and his wife Janice, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M., with a parish rosary at 10:00 A.M., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M., at the church.
Inurnment with military honors will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Hayden High School (Football Program). Contributions can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
