Ma. Del Rosario De La Torre Cruz, age 47, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Topeka.

She was born the daughter of Pedro De La Torre and Gregoria De La Torre Cruz on August 9, 1973 in Pabellon de Arteaga, Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Maria will be remembered for her charismatic nature. She always had a bright smile on her face and she would love to tell jokes to her family. Although, she suffered with health issues, Maria was full of life even to the end. She will be dearly missed but not forgotten.

Survivors include her two sons, Esau Cervantes De Le Torre and his wife Valeria Cortez, Alexis Cervantes De Le Torre; and one daughter, Adonay Salomon De Le Torre; father, Pedro De La Torre; grandson, Javier Camilo Cervantes; six siblings, Juan R. De La Torre, Roberto De La Torre, Ma. Dolores De La Torre, Pedro De La Torre, Juana De La Torre, Juan Luis De La Torre; grandmother, Benita Gomez.

Maria will lie in state at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., with a rosary at 10:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Burial will follow at Topeka Cemetery.
