Margaret June Waggoner, 70, of Topeka, passed away on September 13, 2022, at Stormont-Vail Hospital.
She was born in Topeka, Kansas on April 4, 1952, the daughter of Damian and Patricia (Lemon) Levings.
She was a graduate of Perry High School and Clark’s Business College.
Margaret worked for the Topeka Police Department as a Payroll Accountant for 32 years prior to her retirement.
Margaret enjoyed fishing, ceramics, crocheting, taking road trips and cruises, and was an animal lover. She will be most remembered for her love of her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She served on the board of the TPD Credit Union, City Employees Credit Union and was a Union Steward for the Topeka Police Department.
She married Robert Waggoner in Topeka, Kansas on August 25, 1977, he survives. She is also survived by a son Paul Waggoner and wife Janae of Topeka, four daughters, Robin Kingman and husband Shane, Bonnie Stovall and husband Chuck, and Traci Miner all of Topeka and Trisha Schooler and husband Chad of Scranton, KS, five siblings, David Levings and wife Christy of Osawatomie, KS, Kay Ludvieck and husband Terry of Holton, KS, and her triplet sisters, Mary Walker and husband Charlie, and Marilyn Rohrer and husband George all of Topeka, and a sister-in-law Linda Levings of Perry, KS. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Two brothers, Duane and Michael Levings preceded her in death as did her parents.
Margaret will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Monday, September 19th, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. where her family will receive friends. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
