Marvin Lester Stovall, 84, of Topeka, passed away on October 23, 2022, at Stormont-Vail Hospital.
He was born in Topeka, Kansas on May 11, 1938, the son of Lester M. and Esther L. (Furgason) Stovall.
Marvin worked as a Service Manager for AM International and Inland Business Systems. He was the Secretary for the Scottish Rite Bodies and Past Master of Golden Rule #90 and played the trumpet in the Shriners Band.
He enjoyed fishing, technology, camping, traveling and most of all his photography.
Marvin married Mina Kay Flowers in Topeka, Kansas on November 14, 1958. She survives of the home. He is also survived by four sons; Kevin Stovall of Topeka, Mark (Michelle) Stovall of Burlingame, David Stovall and Brian (Georgia) Stovall of Topeka, his grandchildren, Matt, Haley, Amanda, Patrick, Ben, Andrew, Daniel, Joseph, great grandchildren, Chandler, Scarlet and Meyer Stovall; Blaine, Blair, Blaise, and Barry McVey; Lillian Stovall; Ryker and Grayson Stovall; and Anna and Bailey Stovall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Gary and a grandson, John Stovall.
Marvin will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. where his family will receive friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Masonic rites. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Midland Hospice Care or the Shriners Children’s Hospital and sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
