Mary Kay Dolsky

Mary Kay Dolsky, age 76, of Topeka, KS, passed away on Tuesday, Febuary 28, 2023, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born the daughter of Chester “Chet” and Janie (Reed) Behner on June 21, 1946, in Topeka, KS. Mary was a 1964 graduate from Hayden Catholic High School.

Mary enjoyed word searches, watching westerns and spoiling her cat, JoJo. While at Lexington Assisted Living, she loved playing bingo, coloring and spending time with the other residents.

Survivors include her daughter, Barb Simpson and her husband Mike; son, Thomas Dolsky and his wife Deb. Other survivors include her seven grandchildren, Cole Hasty, Page Simpson, Melissa Glaspie, Jessica Stein, Justin Dolsky, Hailey Dolsky, and Ethan Dolsky; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janie Marrero and brother, Thomas Behner.

Although, we will miss Mary in this life, we take comfort that she was a donor for the Midwest Transplant Network and is able to continue to live on.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 9-10:30 A.M., at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 A.M., at Mt. Calvary Cemetery-Topeka.
